Just a unique group, only QB's who can keep up this style of play is Kaep and Cam. Reason being they have some size to them so I can see them being a little more durable. RG3 and Wilson due to smaller frames will tap out sooner then later. So their game will have to evolve as they grow older and rely less on the run.

Not saying that means scouts won't be intrigued by a "athletic" QB but at the end of the day a prototypical 6'1+ pocket passing QB will trump most "athletic" QB's. Luck, Manning Brothers, Flacco, Ryan, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Roethilisbger etc.. all have some mobility but at the end of the day when it's crunch time they get paid to sit back and pick your defense apart with their arm.

Did you even watch Russell Wilson this year?? He's a throw first QB, he scrambles but doesn't run often. He averaged less than 5 rushing attempts a game. And when he did run he was always smart, he never took big hits like RG3. Wilson is here to stay.

This entire off-season will be dedicated to stopping the read option by every def coordinator in the NFL.
That would be true if these guys relied solely on the read option, which they don't. It's merely a wrinkle to the offense. Seahawks for example ran it only a few times a game as more of a change of pace. Because of that its still going to be difficult for defenses because they won't know when its coming.

Kaepernick is really the one changing things I think. Cam did a great job his first season but he isn't really running the same offense or as effectively. There haven't been many QB's who had designed runs as much as Kaepernick has and part of that is because he can option out of it. Not everyone can run that offense as well as he has, much less run the ball as well as he has.

I've always said, college football recruiting has a lot to do with the team the kid selects being a good team when that kid was in 7th-12th grade a lot of the time. Much in the same way, if kids growing up see this style of QB, you'll see more kids playing this style of ball. Mostly white QB's are pocket passers. There historically haven't been a lot of black QB's but the most mobile QB's have been black historically. If kids see the glory the QB's in this day and age are getting, it may entice them to play QB instead of WR or HB
