Yes. Vancouver is 100% Northwest. We also got Rascalz (Red 1 and Misfit, and DJ Kemo), Swollen Members (Prevail, Mad Child, Moka Only) Moka Only also started Swollen Members he actually thought of the group title as a joke one night and it just stuck but he's a solo now and has been solo for a minute, Checkmate, Concise, Defenders of the Faith (Checkmate & Concise), Cory Lee. We have a gang of talent up here. But Vancouver has no industry. So, only a few stand out.

Nevada's got a huge amount of talent, all in the Vegas area, definitely considered Southwest.

Colorado I would also call that southwest, my buddies from La Junta CO also calls it southwest, and I think most people would call it the Southwest. HOWEVER, some of the Denver rappers out there shout out Midwest, esp. Nyke Loc he shouts it out on like every song, even has a song called "Midwest Coastin" so I can understand it is in one of those ambiguous areas.

I don't consider it Northwest, I consider it something else just b/c that International border matters. I know Vancouver is only a couple hours away from Seattle and that a place like Boise is a long ways, but if Toronto isn't considered Midwest then that international border matters, so Vancouver isn't part of the NW.

That's your opinion. Understandable.

Vancouver, BC is Northwest and has been doing it big in the Northwest for a long long long time.

But hey, if it's not, then maybe that's a good thing?

Peace.

The Pacific Northwest (PNW, or PacNW) in its broadest definition is an area that includes part of the west coast of United States and Canada, including southeast Alaska, all of British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, western Montana and northern California and Nevada. It is called the "Pacific" Northwest in order to distinguish it from the Northwest (the former "Northwest Territory".) In the United States its boundaries are imprecise but generally coincide with the area covered by the original Oregon Territory (created in 1848 - Oregon, Washington, Idaho and areas in Montana west of the Continental Divide). The Eastern Idaho region is sometimes excluded because of its cultural and economic ties to the Rocky Mountain region, particularly Utah. The region is culturally influenced by the upper Midwest.

Major Pacific Northwest cities in the United States include Seattle, Portland, Spokane and Boise. Vancouver and Victoria are the main Canadian cities of the region.

Good Day.
