Coutry folk seem to be WAY more patriotic han city folk, why this is could be any number of things that make it so. Maybe city folk see the dirtier side of America while country folk can still believe in ideals.

YES, THE PEOPLE IN SOUTHERN STATES TEND TO BE MORE PATRIOTIC THAN THOSE NOT IN THE SOUTH.

NOW AS FOR THE PEOPLE LIVING IN THE COUNTRY, THEY TEND TO BE MORE CONSERVATIVE, PATRIOTIC AND TEND TO SEE THOSE WHO ARE LIVING IN THE CITIES (WHICH ARE MAINLY LIBERAL AND SOMETIMES LESS PATRIOTIC) AS THE BAD THAT IS TAKING OVER OUR COUNTRY, THE EVIL THAT IS DESTROYING OUR MORALS, AND TRADITIONAL FAMILY VALUES.

BUT WHO KNOWS I CANT REALLY CALL THEM LESS PATRIOTIC, MAYBE THEY ARE JUST PATRIOTIC OIN A DIFFERENT SENSE???

"PATRIOT, n. A dangerous tool of the powers that be. A herd member who compensates for lack of self-respect by identifying with an abstraction. An enemy of individual freedom. A fancier of the rich, satisfying flavor of boot leather."

Yeah good quote!
I think country people do see city folk as the destroyers. Id say we all got guns and would defend, but people in the country have a more free life and have more to loose.
