it depends..... on the thing you are trying to achieve.

basketball ---> if you are 7 1/2 feet tall you can have less talent but still dominate a more talented 6 1/2 footer. i could be wrong about that since i dont know much about basketball...

now about baseball you can have 2 kids play baseball since they ware 5 and teach them the same let them face the same pitchers, and in the long run when they are 18 you will see that one is more talented than the other even though they both learned the same things and were developed side by side their whole lives......

I think mcleanhatch was born an Idiot, but, It took him YEARS to become the dip shit that he is today!:cheeky:
and that comes from a communist who is complaining about how capitalism sucks, and how you hate America, and has killed his own baby, but you must not really love communism much because if you did love communism and hated America so much there are a few really great countries like CUBA, N. Korea, Venezuela, and a few others out there where you can go and live a good life

hahaha I am sorry but that was funny !!

I think that people are born with raw talent and if it is nurtured then it becomes second nature. I see it all the time with my students and their music, it comes easier to some then others. I will admit that some of the "smarter" kids are the ones that are good at music but there are some kids that can just do it, learn by ear and whatnot.

with me I was born to do music, I can sit and play anything I want, that is my talent, but as I learned the theory of music my talent developed into second nature like writing. Everyone is born with a talent, most people just don't develop it. Those are the people you look at and go "Wow, you should be this or you should do that" and they go " yeah but blah blah blah ..." those people drive me nuts. lazy. In short, I think you are born with a certain talent but I believe that you can develop a talent that you weren't "prone" to from birth.

not my most eloquent response but it will do
hahaha

i have coached baseball from ages 5 to 14 and that is why i say that some have more talent than others especially when you see kids that pick up a bat and swing for the first time.

you can see that when one kid has a sweet, level, short, and compact swing and the other kid has a lond, uppercut like, long slow swing. at that moment you know that one is more talented than the other.

now if they are both taught by the same people up to adulthood and prictice the same amount of time it will also show up when they are olderin that the kid with the sweet swing will be a dominant hitter compared to the other kid.
