Anyone with tmobile know how to txt a mexican cell?

I called t-mobile and what the dude said didn't work and I am reading conflicting info on the web.

I know someone here has a got a relative in Mexico that they know how to send texts to on a Mexican cellular number.

I don't know about tmobile so I wouldn't be able to tell u 4 sure but I know I've had txts from South Africa & Canada & I think all that I saw was a plus sign, a country code, & the number... or sumthin' like that.
