in theory, they could win this lawsuit against everyone who shares files, but like that article said, they are just shooting themselves in the foot, cause you think if i get sued for a 100,000 dollars, that i am going to go out and buy a cd anytime soon is out of their mind. shit, if they do shut that shit down, i am going to buy stock in yahoo and tdk, cause blank cd's are going to be bought 5 times more than they are now, cause if someone buys a cd, you best believe they gon hook up everyone they now if no one can download shit anymore.
but really tho', kazaa is the shit, cause i have all kinds of songs i never would have bought, where it's like the artist only has one good song and i ain't buying the cd for one song. the music industry has been fucking the consumer for so long, it's their turn to get fucked the way i see it. if people quit putting out bullshit cd's, more people would buy. i'll buy a cd if its dope, but it's not kazaa shutting down sales, it's the quality of music, and that's real

They can't do shit about this. There's no law against file sharing (besides, Kazaa couldn't be shut down anyway since there's no central server), and they can't check what people are downloadin' or what they have in their computer, cuz that's an invasion of privacy.
This is just a move to try to worry people into not usin' Kazaa anymore.
