I just watched the entire first season and the second season is due out next month. I was just told about it and it really peaked my interest when I was told it was about a guy that kills people that deserve it (i.e. child molestors/murderers, drunk drivers that kill people in crashes, etc.). His character is a forensics expert but also psychologically fucked up and feels the need to kill. The only way he justifies it is by killing people who deserve it, like taking out the trash. This is a great show. It's on Showtime, so I'm going to have to wait for the DVDs.

Hell yeah! My wife and I watched all 14 episodes from Season 1 in less than a week. Once we started watching, we only stopped because it was bedtime. We'd sometimes watch 3 episodes in a night. Season 2 in August.
And yes, he works in forensics studying blood spatters at crime scenes. The show has two really good story lines for both of his personalities, his serial killer personality and his forensics personality. Both of them are well written with one not being better than the other and the other one only being written to try to hold the show together. It's a solid show.
