Anyone using or used Cubase LE? ? about MIDI

I could use a lil help. I know nothin really about MIDI but Im tryin to set it up. Im using a Roland JX-305 as a controller. My problem is how do I use the vst inst.? I cant get any sound. I can see that its reading somethin but I get no feedback. Let me know what I should do. where can I get info.

i have no idea, i just got it... ima start using it, but if you want a good, cheap music maker... go buy Magix... that is hella good... the quality wont be as tight but it will be close, and its more user friendly...

Go to the "VST instruments" panel which I believe is located in the "DEVICES" menu.....select the instrument you want to use and insert it. Then go to the MIDI channel you want to record on and select it as the instrument you want to use from the instrument list. Some will only work on channel 1 so you need to be aware of that.

Thanks for the info...I got it to work but Im still not 100% I cant seem to get all the sounds to play. Imma keep fuckin with it tho.
