Anyone listen to Metallica?

I've kinda always liked them because my older brother was a metal head when I was growing up, but these fools are living legends. I've been listening to them a lot lately and it's always cool to listen to when I'm working out.

^^I agree 1st four albums great Thrash metal. The 5th self titled 'Black Album' good overall heavy metal album. After that is when I stopped listening to them.

I have never been a huge fan of Kill 'em all for some reason. I might need to listen to it more.

I thought Death Magnetic was actually pretty good and the Day That Never Comes is a great song which kinda features who they became after the black album but who they were with the last half of the song.

am i the only one that thinks and justice for all is overrated? i mean its an excellent album but too many people dick ride it too hard when i prefer ride the lightning and my fav metallica album, master of puppets.

then i like the black album...and thats where it stops..

I did like Metallica until the St. Anger album in 2003. Everything after 2003 just doesn't compare.

I think because a lot of people consider One to be one of their best, if not the best song they ever did, it gets a lot of credit. Also Harvester of Sorrow is one of my favorite's by them by far too. Blackened and Justice for All are 2 more of their extremely well known songs. They were like the Beatles of metal in the way that like 30-60% of their albums ended up being classics. It's really rare than an artist or group can do that over multiple albums and in multiple decades.

Are you fucking trippin? And Justice for All is fucking classic. The song, "One", is pure classic. That's my favorite Metallica album of all time. I can listen to that from front to back easily. That's classic Metallica right there. I've been listening to them since the late 80's.
