If so, check out La Louisiana on Cherry street right by garfield a couple blocks up from MLK, the food there is so bomb! I lived down in New Orleans for 4 years, and this food is real deal authentic... check it out though....

^^^You go to the Catfich Corner at all?I dont even know if its still there...but i had a homeboy who ate there everyday RELIGIOUSLY...i cant stand it myself...but alotta folks like/liked that spot....

Catfish corner is still there but Naw, that place is poo-poo

go up the block to La Louisiana for a nice Catfish Po'boy though... a little more expensive but worth it. All the po-boys are killin' it
they got ere'thing, Crawfish Monaco, shrimp or crawfish creol, shrimp or crawfish etoufee, crawfish beigniets, cajun red beans and rice (w/ andouille sausage)... a gang of other stuff too (and I don't eat pork or shellfish anymore, but they still got that fiyaaah)

WAAAAAAAACK!

Jus got back from tryna have dinner there, and what a disappointment... I've been gettin' ready to grub at this place all week, go there and it turns out they're shutting down, they were out of everything it took 20 minutes to get an appitizer (fried okra) delivered,so I cancelled the order and dipped... too bad to leave on such a bunk expirience... woulda rather drove by and seen it shut down instead...ahh well... just have to wait to head back to the N.O. this spring at Jazzfest
