This is just a guess, but I think it spiders your connection around the network so basically you can have a million people dl'n off of you as a way to say "Fuck you" to the RIAA.

It's stupid, but people have been using private AoL chat rooms for the same purpose for years and years.

basicly if u got a fast computer/internet connection kazzaa can make you more of a server than a client, so downloads are routed throu you.

instead of them having a massive giant super computer, they use a small amount of resources for the users, cost effective & it sounds kool if your a supa node! hah hah.
