just copped one yesterday.. its a cool little phone. holds 2 gb of mp3s + more storage for pics, vids, etc. but I'm trying to figure out how to use my mp3s as a ringtone. does anyone know how to do this?

thats stupid. why would they give their customers 2 gb of space for mp3s but not allow them to use any for ringtones? where's the logic behind that? so we have to spend 4 dollars on a ringtone from their fucking website?

a friend of mine had a chocolate, so i guess it might work the same
i cut the piece of a song out and put it on my phone and sent it to him in a mms
i think you can do a save sound kinda thing and itll let you use it
other than that i dont know

I USE MYXERTONES.COM THEY ALLOW YOU TO MAKE IT UP TO A MINUTE LONG AND ITS SENT AS A MESSAGE BUT YOU CAN SAVE IT AS A RINGTONE BUT HAVENT MADE A RING TONE IN A WHILE AND I REMEMBER THAT VERIZON STARTED TO BLOCK THESE MESSAGES

anything you have saved in the music player, you can NOT use as a ringtone.
take a song, cut it where you want for the ringtone, and send it to yourself, by sending it to [email protected]

you can also use www.mobile17.com for a free solution to this problem, and they will cut the file for you.
