anyone ever gotten pins in their arm?

i broke my hand last friday, and now ive got to get a few pins im my thumb and hand on monday. they say their going to do it while im awake, and that they probably wont even make an incision, theyll just punch through the skin with the pin. anyone else ever had this done?

naw homie, but i got 23 screws and 3 metal plates in my elbow, forearm, and wrist. i never heard uv wut ur talkin bout, is it accupuncture? fold.

lol, i wish. i guess they're actually screws not pins, and there will be a plate too, but because of where the break is at the very base of the thumb, and at a very sharp angle, they're just going to drill the screws through the tissue and into the bone rather than opening me up.

sounds like you got it way worse than me though. what did you do?
