This shit isn't that bad....it's not very scary or gory but the plot of it is a lot better than most other horror movies cause they use the Australian outback as part of the plot and shit....I watched the making of the movie and the director and cinematographer (sp?) were on the same page as far as shooting goes, and they even had to adapt the movie to the weather.....anyone else seen it? thoughts, comments?

I liked it. Can't say it was incredibly creative, but it was entertaining. You should check out the Hills Have Eyes

Hostile was weak as fuck...It was like Euro Trip with 5 minutes of killing...Dude that wrote Cabin Fever wrote that shit, and Cabin Fever was a stupid ass movie...Gross, but stupid....The best part was when dude was bangin' that chick and he pulled out his hand/fingers and they were covered in blood/oozing shit.

I just liked Wolf Creek cause of the shots they used in the movie and the way it was put together....The shots of the outback were pretty tight, I just like how they were completely isolated....Yes, most of the stuff was predictable, but I guess I just like the pictures! lol...

Eli Roth is the shit. Cabin Fever was very good for his first film. Hostel was a great sophmore movie. Sure there was a lot of hype surrounding Hostel, but it wasn't JUST about blood a guts, there was a story behind it. I think Eli captured that movie beatifully. I'm looking forward to all of his future releases.

I guess one reason I didn't like Hostel is because throughout the movie I was predicting everything that was going to happen and I was right for the most part. I also thought it was typical. It was said to be the scariest movie of the decade, that shit made me LAUGH. The movie was about naked bitches and weed and then it turned into those naked bitches being crazy and they sold people to weird mother fuckers that cut people up, and that part of it lasted 5 minutes or less....The whole movies point was to scare people but that shit was not scary....and Cabin Fever? You really liked that movie? I thought the plot was too predictable...I can't watch movies like that where I know what's going on and characters are just being fucking MORONS and there is no way it could actually happen in reality....the disease and the stupid ass people just staying there....There's always some stupid bitch that wants to help someone out and then they end up being the first one to die or what have you....I want to see a really scary movie. Some shit that seriously scares me....hasn't happened in a long fuckin time......

that's also due to age......as you get older horror movies aren't scary anymore! There are scenes in horror/suspenseful flicks where there's a scene that make you jump out of your seat (i.e. The Ring) but theirs a point in everyone's life when horror movies aren't scary anymore due to age.

I'll say that when i was younger(around 10 yrs old), i thought Jason, Freddy, and Micheal Miers were the scariest motherfuckers in horror flicks.....now if i sit down and watch them......they're somewhat humorous in a sense.....

I thought it was tight because it's based on actual events.
Yeah, that was bullshit for them to say that it was based on actual events. Because for one, the killer was never caught. Two, the bitches were never found. Three, the dude got away but had no idea what happened to the bitches, so how the fuck can all that shit that happened to the bitches be "actual events", if no one has ever found and spoken to them. In fact, I don't remember the ending and if the dude even gets away....??? All I know is that almost entire portions of the movie are completely made up due to the fact that the only people that would know the true story never made it back alive to tell the true story.
