Some sound like they are over the phone and others sound like he actually had some equiptment.

Anybody know how he was doing albums in prison?

He was listenin to tha beat on one phone and spittin on another phone. Those are tha ones that sound like that. But I heard that he had recording equiptment snuck in and he also used that

i read somewhere that he had a CO sneakin equipment into his cell, he eventually got caught and the CO got fired
i cant remember where i read it, i think it was a Raided interview
but that makes sense to me, i guess the CO liked his music

Im pretty sure they sell a modular that has a phone jack and plugs right into a mixer than X just spits accapella over the phone than they build the beat around the vocals dont know for sure though

Their was one time,I can't remember the name,but they had a video wheir inmates from prison were rapping.The called themselves by their prison numbers.It didn't work out though so they didn't make a second video..

I remember them i think the group was called "convicts" or "lifers".

Naw I had that tape back when i waz 14 yearz old & i know 4 a fact that Big Mike & 3-2 were not locked up when that waz made. I need 2 find that shit on cd now that i see that pix. That shit waz super tight. 1-900-Dial A Crook waz my shit. The Convicts were actually sighned 2 Death Row @ one point after they dropped the first album(alot of people dont know thiz) but when Willie D left the Geto Boys J Prince asked Big Mike if would sighn back with RAL 4 a solo deal & be Willie D's replacement in the Geto Boys.
