Actually, I try to avoid if possible, but I wish the receivers of my loans were more like me...

If I borrow money and tell you when I will have it back to you, you wont ever have to worry about communication. Say that day comes around that I said I was going to pay up, you wouldnt even have to call me, because I would have called you...whether I had the money or not..why is it so hard for people to holla at you about YOUR money? They had no problems asking for the bread, but when its passed the date that they promised to return funds(interests free btw) they dont take that initiative to contact you first? Now they are a few days late and you are left with no choice but to holla at them...

Its not even about the bread because im not hurting, its the principle..operating like that makes me not want to help out when you need it...I dont mind loaning out big sums of scrill IF they are good for it and appreciative...If you are not, I have a problem loaning you even $20.00...because I know its a MISSION trying to get my money back..

Its just annoying more than anything...I did you a favor, the least you could do is holla at me on the due date YOU GAVE ME..whether you have the bread or not..

P.S. Im talking about family and friends....Its true, money makes people turn funny..

just don't do it.
Yeah, thats an easy solution, but I only help when the person really needs it...not to get some new Jordans...so yeah, I can say f--k yo light bill or helping you out with you getting your only car fixed, but it trickles down to my nephews/niece, etc...The money will eventually get back to me, I guess I just dont understand the thought process behind that type of person who avoids the situation for as long as possible...because NO ONE ever forgets that they loaned you money...so its not going away...

LOANING PEOPLE MONEY IS A MOTHERFUCKER AND ANYTHING IN REGARDS TO FINANCE WITH FAMILY IS A BITCH TOO...SHIT WHEN MY MOM LIVED WITH ME, WE HAD EVERYTHING ARRANGED AND NEGOTIATED...COME THE DAY SHE HAD TO COUGH UP THE SCRATCH, IT WAS LIKE PULLING TEETH. THEN SHE CLAIMED SHE WAS BROKE... THEN WITHOUT EVEN GIVING ME A WARNING, SHE MOVED OUT ABOUT 6 MONTHS LATER...AND ALL OF A SUDDEN SHE CAN PAY A 1200 RENT ON A MONTHLY BASIS, BUT WHEN SHE WAS LIVING WITH ME... SHE COULDNT EVEN AFFORD LIKE 800 BUCKS...
...SHE WAS EASILY MAKING ALOT MORE MONEY THAN ME...AND THIS WAS MY MOM...FUCK...

You can choose ya friends but not ya family...loaning money to people who promise to pay u back but never comes down to the lenders own fault becuase a promise is a comfort to a fool...

I loaned my closest homeboy 200.00 for part of his rent around Thanksgiving of 2009...he was supposed to pay me back 2 weeks later..we are close, so I know his living situation and he barely has enough to pay for anything, so I didnt expect the money back in that two weeks......BUT DAMN, you cant even give me 5 dollars a month(about 16 cents a day) just so you can pay me back? Like I said, its not about the money, BUT it should not take 1.5 years to pay back 200.00, especially when you have no kids or a girl....

Some people are just HORRIBLE with money...At this point, I rather him keep his money and get his own finances straight, but I told him just dont expect to borrow any more from me...I cant be an enabler....also heard he borrowed money from the other homies...

I love the nigga and hate to see him struggling, but at the same time, you gotta make better choices or you will continue broke...f--k being broke(if you can help it)...

You're just setting yourself up to get upset every time you give out some cash. I mean if you know people who habitually stay broke or lie, it probably means they won't have the money to pay you back. Might as well say you're giving them money, it will make you not feel as bad I guess.

I hook people up all the time but don't ever loan anyone money. Especially if they aren't taking care of buisness and just throwing their life away, they just take advantage of you and anyone else thats close to them.

Some people will sell out their fam for some money, its sad...

My family always hit me up for money! What pisses me off though is that they'll pick the most random time to ask. I'll be sleepin' and they'll wake my ass up and ask me for money. WHO THE FUCK DOES THAT? Shit happened just this past Sunday, matter of fact. I'm in a deep sleep and my mom comes in my room, "Can I borrow some money for church?" I didn't even bother gettin' up. I just said "My wallet is on the dresser".

Funny part about that is after my mom got her money, she said, "Thank you. You're the only one in this house with money." LMFAO

Or my sisters will say some shit like, "We wanna get somethin' to eat. Can you give us some money?" Either that or, "Can I have some money for gas?" THE FUCK? Both y'all work and ain't got a dime. SMH

I don't like asking anyone for money, but if I do, its rare and I pay the person back ASAP.

Yeah man back in June of 09, I let my cousin borrow $40.00. It was supposed to be only $20 but my mistake was telling him to meet me at the bank at 5:15. He was at the bank at 5:00 sharp, calling me non stop. I told him I was on my way....

So I come out of the bank and he asked could he borrow an extra $20. $20 for lunch and $20 for gas because he was driving this big SUV. I let him borrow the money because he was living in a homeless shelter with his alcoholic wife and his 3 kids. He said he'd pay me back when he got his unemployment check the next Tuesday.

Tuesday morning comes and he sends me a text "I got you cousin"...

I ain't seen him since, then a year later he sends me a text out of nowhere talking about "everythang is everythang"

i feel you 1000% mane and nothing pisses me off more than when someone who borrows money or whatever from you and when the day come they don't even hit you..no explanation or anything and then you become the bad one try'n to call the motherfucka...

long story short i've learned it's good to just say no and be done with it...fuck giving someone your money and then having to go through bullshit just to get back what you loan AND fuck up the relationship on top of that...ya know...
