Im geting laid off in Aug. Im trying franticly to find another job ASAP! I knew bout the lay off since Feb. but took the news litly till a few days ago. Any one else going thru this right now, or went thru it @ any time in there life?

The most important thing to remeber is not to get discouraged. If you have a dim outlook then it will come across in your interview. Be positive, on time, always have an extra (clean) hard copy of your resume, and research the company.

LOL, thats a trip bro, I worked in a tire shop since I was like 13, shit you could say I grew up in a tire shop. My grandfather owens a couple TIRE SHOPS. I know every trick N' the book. You ever haveto do any hard work like work on some Split Wheel Rims or work on 23' truck tires? I miss working @ tire shops but that just isnt where the money is, money is in the I.T. jobs. But I would much rather work on tires, shit I would rather not work @ all but bills dont pay themselfs, you know!

I ACTUALLY BUILD THE TIRES SOME OF MY FELLOW SICCNESS MEMBERS RIDE ON.....BE AFRAID,BE VERY AFRAID.......I'VE BEEN A TIRE BUILDER FOR 8 YEARS NOW.......I DID BUILD THEM FOR PIRELLI,THEN THEY CLOSED THAT PLANT DOWN......I GOT 6 MONTH'S OF SEVERANCE PAY......LET'S JUST SAY FOR 5 AND A HALF MONTHS,I DID NOTHIN BUT DRINK AND FUCK.......

they don't require any experience or training, you just show up dressed nice and say you're a team player and persuasive...if you're any good you'll make 35-40,000 your first year and like 50-75 the next year.

I wanna try to get into IT as well, but I heard from a few people you gotta keep going back to school all the time, cuz tha technology keeps changing. Is that true Roxy?
