Duke and Crooked are in their 30's. I doubt their hanging on the corners around A street with their families and shit. I know them both personally and I'm from A street homie. They don't live there now, but I know that they're from the N$H. I know fools who grew up with them all over the Northside and A street. It says you're 21 in your profile, so I doubt your homies would know them.

i think the thing with duke and crooked is that they just represent for A St. like you said, you got homies who know of them, and you know they're from North hayward, but you don't even know whether or not they actually bang. i have a homie that used to work with them in a bingo supply place and he was surprised to find out they were reppin 'A' on rap tapes.. so they probably throw that out there in some of their raps cause that's their homeboys.

i used to do similar shit back in the day cause my father and cousins have banged the 'A' since the 70s and it was a way for me to show pride. shit i even have a picture of me when i'm like 2 years old at the zoo with my parents sporting a NS A ST tank top. i always felt like that was an extended family of mine but since i don't know many of the guys my age banging and don't kick it and shit i don't rep it anymore cause i aint trying to disrespect anyone.

but anyway yeah. hayward has hella fools rappin for a pretty small city. whatever happened to DOWN AND DIRTY!? they had some beats...

so what does MY AGE have to do wit my homies?..i barely ride wit any kats my age...i roll wit older kats from all over...from nwk to the stack....my boys been in it for a long azz time...they all said the same thing..."they always talkin bout a street this and that"....and this was years ago when i first heard DRF....and they were all in their mid 20s and now 30s...they put in werk and as far as i kno they been repen A street for a loooong time...and aye bro...in no way am i tryin to start sum dumb argument online....jus saying what i been told from credible folx....jus like the other kat u replied said his homies were surprised to hear them saying " a street" as well....and it doesnt matter but im bout ta b 23....haha..
