That is hella gay if they come out w/some scrap shit from Seaside. By the way MS and surenos haven't gotten along for awhile,due to MS not wanting to pay taxes for claiming 13 and now they say that the 13 stands for MS and not eme.Damn,Seaside is scrap infested huh? I remember last time I passed by there I saw a scrapa bitch all flued up.
@Locoside - I dont know homie I never heard of any scraps from there trying to rap. I know alot of crips that rap up there and whenever I go up there all I see is crips- Any chance you know the homie Cornutt-. Ruben at face the music put out that valley thugs cd with the Nortenos from Salas on it, I think last time i was at his store i saw some other hispanic group that he was gonna put out but they looked like homeboys too. they are probably trying to come up on their own.

Playa Took and the people on the Battlefield cd don't have anything to do with North and South conflict. I believe the Battlefield comp, came from folks in Marina (some from Seaside)and most of the rappers are black and possibly Crips. Playa Took and his brother Doobauch work with my homie C-Tru on Oceanside Game Records and they're more on some get high, playa-type shit.
As for the concert in Monterey, when I talked to people about it (before it was supposed to happen) most of those I talked to didn't know about it. It wasn't promoted very much out here and most people didn't seem to think it was actually going to happen.

And I haven't heard about a Sureno album from around here. Do you know for sure that they're Surenos? And any info on the label putting it out?
Seaside is kind of like a neighborhood that's majority is black folks, with mexicans, whites and asians in the mix. A lot of people wear blue because they are Crip affiliated. There were 2 Norteno gangs there (last I heard) but I'm told they can be mistaken for Surenos by their appearance. There are supposedly Sureno gangs there also, but I've never seen any or their graffiti.

I've seen all three gangs in seaside. Back when I was a little youngsta i had a homie named james that lived in Seaside but he went to school with me in Salinas. I used to kick it in seaside alot and like Doom said you won't really see anything there, except if you know where to look. If you go down to by where the adult bookstore is across from the fairgrounds in North Monterey you'll occasionally see X3 tagged up but I never saw them post up over there and I never saw any sets tagged up either. Dooms right on another thing too, that is that the homeboys from NSS ( North Sea Side) look like some straight up scraps I dont know why but they do. At the last car show those fools were getting hit up left and right by the homeboys. From my experience there when I was young it never seemed like the mexican gangs there even knew what was up. I knew three fools Earnesto, George, and Barney my homie james had told me that they were scraps. when I first met them the first thing they said was "I didn't know they let whiteboys be busters" long story short george had a fat black eye after that. After that they switched and decided to be homeboys. I didnt see them much after our first confrontation but when I did see them they had become some solid homeboys. From stories I've heard since then i've learned that there is alot of hood hopping in that city. The crips are down as fuck and are very solid though.
