In the midst of a closing night performance on Sunday (Day 2) at Rock The Bells, Wu-Tang Clan resurrected Ol’ Dirty Bastard via hologram for a handful of minutes. ODB — who’s been dead since November 2004 – appeared alongside his Wu-Tang brothers and son (Young Dirty Bastard) for renditions of “Shame on a Nigga” and “Shimmy Shimmy Ya.” You can view video of the entire event at the end of this post.
According to MTV, the Eazy-E and ODB holograms were created by director Chris “Broadway” Romero with help from AV Concepts, who was also behind the Tupac hologram at Coachella.
