What I get is.... you are learning the program, however this looks coo to you because it's somethign new. I learned alot from people here. Do a design, let it sit for 24 hours and then look at it and go at it again. But..... your learning. I bet in 6 months your shit looks different and we can dig this thread up and laugh.

for a complete beginner id suggest reading up on good design or just studying designs you like and then gettin a photoshop book or reading tutorials online. u gotta be up on the artistic and techincal side at the same time to make good shit, alot of people ignore one or the other

When cuttin pictures be sure that you use polygonal lasso tool, it gives you sharpen result
And another method to use in cuttin is
Rectangular Marguee Tool, select the area, crop it , and start using eraser tool, best results come when, u use tiny brushsize , and u zoom on the edges, where to cut ,,

ONE THANg EVERYBODY FAILED TO MENTION AND I LEARNED THIS TRIK BY JUST WATCHIN' THE BASIC TUTORIAL ABOUT A YEAR AgO IS THAT YOU DON'T WANNA CUT SHIT OUT LIKE THAT CAUSE 9 TIMES OUT OF TEN, YOUR SHIT LOOKS CHOPPY. WHAT YOU WANNA DO INSTEAD IS USE YOUR ALPHA CHANNELS WITH YOUR BLAK AND WHITE BRUSH(BLAK CONCEALS, WHITE REVEALS), AND THEN WITH THAT YOU CAN ALWAYS DO A NON-DESTRUCTIVE "CUT-OUT" AND ALWAYS gO BAK TO REFINE WHATEVA EDgE WITHOUT AFFECTIN' THE ORIgINAL PICTURE.
