John Kronus, best known as half of The Eliminators tag team from Extreme Championship Wrestling (now owned by WWE), was found dead in his girlfriend's apartment late yesterday.A source tells TMZ that New Hampshire officials are treating this as a "suspicious death," and an autopsy has been ordered. Kronus, whose real name is George Caiazo, was trained by the legendary Walter "Killer" Kowalski, and retired from wrestling in 2002.

Very sad time for prowrestling fans =( I used to love to watch The Eliminators. Probably the MOST UNDERRATED tag team ever.

Wasnt he Perry Saturns tag team parther in ECW? Its been so long ago(over 14 years) since them O.G ECW days so i forget wrestlers liek him he didnt raelly make a star impact from 1993.

Yup him and Perry Saturn were the Eliminators.He also formed a short lived tag team with New Jack called The Gangstanators.

Very sad indeed...Kronus was one of the first athletic "big men" in the ol' ECW days...300+ lbs. doing back flips and 450 splashes were amazing. Him and Perry Saturn were sick together. If they had stayed together and gone on to WWE/WCW they would of been huge.
