Another Cubase Question

Hopefully this is the last one I need on this type of problem. I finally got Cubase to sync with my MPC, which I been trying to do for the past couple of months. But now I have one more problem. When I run the 2 synced, I can't record what the MPC is playing into Cubase. Anybody know what the problem may be?

Are you adding an audio track and selecting the correct inputs on the track within Cubase? Make sure that recording is enabled on the track and that you have the track selected.

all my inputs and what not are koo...i've done plenty recording in Cubase already...but the cursor (marker) is not even moving, but i am getting levels on the meter...

Are you trying to set up MMC or MTC or both?

Cubase doesn't like being a slave. It's better if you set Cubase to be the master and set the mpc as slave.
