Ok folks, I'm just curious here, i love animals and all but can someone explain to me why some people place a higher value on the life of an animal then that of human life, we sit around trying to figure out ways to save everything and every other species but our own...
a man is gunned down in the streets of many cities across the world, and more so in north america for nothin more then pety squabbles, and no one lifts a finger....hell half of us say the preson deserved it and i bet most of us wouldnt offer a hand to help....cause well, it isnt our problem
and yet if an animal, say a cat or dog is gunned down or beaten in the middle of the street...there would be a public outrage...inquiries would be held, the story might even have the national spotlight, the local community would probably end up donating time and money to make sure the spca was well looked after to make sure things likr that didnt happen again
i guess the argument could be made that animals are innocent..and we protect the innocent....well then can someone point out why so many people donate so much time, effort and MONEY to local animal humane socities, and yet their are starving CHILDREN in our own inner cities...
i believe in the old cliche that you cant help anyone else till you help yourself...i believe thats true for the human population as well
so someone...anyone please tell me why we dont vaule human life as much as we do our pets.....
