Tech N9ne | Anghellic (2001)

Many consider Anghellic to be the rebirth of modern horrorcore. In the 90’s the scene had been becoming quite stale… until Tech N9ne dropped this gruesome and diverse album that covers about every aspect of horror you can imagine. The album is still considered one of Tech’s best offerings, as it exhibits extremely memorable tracks and displays the greatest versatility we‘ve ever seen from the Kansas City native. That says something considering the man’s been in the game well over a decade, worked with the best the business has to offer, and has now released 10 albums.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Tech is one of the least gruesome niggas around. I do wanna hear him on Lynch's "Rest in Piss" beat tho. That would be fire as fuck.

i didnt really agree with this either, yes tech has horrorcore influences especially on certain tracks but to say as a whole as a album no i dont think so; but if you did have to pick a tech horrocore album it prolly would be this one... just my thoughts.

You make a song called Devil Boy and portray yourself as a crucified angel as well as a deamonic centaur surrouned by fire and all of a sudden ppl consider your hip hop "Anghellic" album to be a "horrorcore" album. :ermm:

But I definatly agree this isn't really horrorcore.

Yeah Anghellic is one of the bests albums ever but not horrorcore. If you wanna see iconic horrorcore album, look for the House and House 2 albums by Lo Key, 10 of the best horrorcore songs ever, including the song the child, which in my opinion is one of the best horrocore songs of all time.

^^ Lol...

"The song Breathe"....
Do You remember the lyrics:
Run up on a mother fucka while he fuckin' a chick/
Put a bullet in her head while she suckin' the dick/
Wasn't a bit of evidence baby it's irrelevant/
You got it with yo nigga that's the luck of the grit/

Well my point is that the song Breathe wasn't on Anghellic until it's re-release in what... 2003-2004? So they can't be talking about that song.
