its a trip..like...4-5 years ago...when this site really started crackin and i became a regular...Woodie also became a regular...and seeing as to how i became a supporter of his late 2000 after stumbling upon NE2 in the record store.it wasnt a cooincidence that this board ended up being the one i spent most my time on...i really listened to what the Dude had to say..u kno..i really felt his passion...as a person..as an artist..he just really had an undeniable way of conveying his TRUTH thru his music..he expressed himself hella righteously...i corresponded with him online and once over the phone for like 5 years..never met him..but damned if i didnt somewhat kno the man..and now..like a week after hearing he passed...its really becoming reality..that i will no longer get to soak his game...hear his growth..enjoy his ART...but..at the same..a muthafucka is feelin fortunate to have had an open mind to even take a chance on that first album of his i ever stumbled across....cuz homie really spit GAME....if u dont kno..get up on his catalog..learn somethin..RIP WOODIE IT WAS A PRIVILEDGE LISTENIN TO YOU
