Amp + 6x9's ....

Why not?Decks dont have more than 30 watts....is that enough to power 2 8"s(6X9)???You want some thunp...right?

The sound quality is 10 times better running the speakers off an amp compared to a deck...

hmmm thanks all , guess im not gonna sell my old amp imma use it on my four inside speakers. another question... can u mix subs? i got 2 mtx 12's but i want 4 12's now . do i have to get some more mtx's or can i get some other brand of 12's and how many amps you think i need for 4 12's

DO NOT MIX SIZES OR SUBS! BAD IDEA, if u want 4 get to more of the same MTX's and it also depends on what RMS the subs are at for the amps.

4 12's would be the knock, but if u want justa little louder u could jus go wit one more mtx sub and have 3 12's, u can find a good 3 12' box to go with... and im pretty sure u could power it with 2 maybe even just one amp
