damn, just seen this shit for the first time last night.........shit is tight...........couple questions tho..........1) so did the main dude who actually started la eme got shanked in the pen in real life? also 2) just reading threads on this board, i got the idea la eme was just about chicanos and hardly any other race was let in. well in the movie, they got a gang of white dudes - not to mention one being of the top guys - as well as a chinese or japanese dude. is this just in the movie or are there white folks in the top ranks of la eme?

ps - these are just some questions about the flick....i have no gang affiliations nor am i some cyber thug trying to obtain my knowledge from online.

the white guy in the movie's character was based on the real life leader of la eme who is white. He died a while back though. Also in la there are non hispanic surenos..middle easterners, blacks, asians, etc.

I mean the whole gang isn't all black or all asian..what I meant was that there are a couple of asians, blacks, whites, etc that are in hispanic gangs down here. 99% of the time you do see hispanic surenos but there is that small %1 of other races mixed in. There's this one black sureno that's from Pac Town Criminals 13. He even calls other blacks mayates..it just all depends on where you grow up. I've seen middle eastern surenos out in the valley..one of them was from brown pride surenos but he was a bitch. Look at that guy capone..he's middle eastern. Trust me they're around.
