First off I'd like to congratulate those of us who were looking to get this forum active again. Mission complete. As usual there are minor nuisances in here that can be handled and dealt with fairly easily, but the forum is on it's way back to it's original, thriving form. Now, on to the notice....
Let's be brutally honest, this forum thrives on beefs. But, 90% of the beefs that were born here on the Flows forum were killed here on the Flows forum. How? Through battle. That was before these so-called "artists" decided to gallop in and start talking shit about how text is whack and everyone should do audio. But let's face the facts, none of these "rappers" had anything bad to say about text flows until they were told their lyrics suck. Then it was all about audio. All you saw on here was "audio this" and "audio that" and "step up to audio bitches," and all because of what? A couple of "artists" getting their chonies in a bunch because they were told their lyrics need work.
Basically, there are (or were) two bad seeds in here. I don't even need to call their names because we all know who they are. It started with the first one getting pissed because someone said his lyrics were whack, then he decided to start talking shit and being cocky, which lead to everyone getting sick of it and turning on him. Once that happened, the second of the two decided to show up and play Captain Save-A-Hoe and start shit with everyone in order to defend his partner. If you remove these two from the picture, everything is all good.
It only takes 1 or 2 people who can't handle criticism to destroy a whole forum. Once they start, people who disagree with the other party will join them and the forum will go to hell. I've never believed in banning people, but if that's what it takes in order to keep this forum straight then I guess I'm going to have to start welcoming the action.
This is a notice to all posters of the Flows forum: IF YOU CAN NOT HANDLE CRITICISM, DO NOT POST YOUR SHIT IN HERE. I don't want to see this forum take another plunge like it has done in the past 2 weeks.
If I see any signs of this shit happening again I will start deleting and closing any threads I see necessary to defuse the situation. If you persist and decide to repost what I've decided to close or delete I will have to take banning into consideration. Let's all be grown-ups and act civil around here. This shit is pathetic.
On a lighter note I want to thank those who have sat back and not gotten involved in any of the shit talking between the 2 "artists" and the rest of the forum. Namely BETO916, jsquared, sfgiants, The Worst, and so on and so forth. I'm sorry you had to deal with all the bullshit that was basically over nothing at all.
@Stealth.... I appreciate you explaining shit on my behalf, because I know damn well I wouldn't even have given most of these newbies the benefit of an explanation. It's nice to have someone else around who knows what situation I'm in and what I have to deal with around here daily. And if it's alright with you, I'd like to recommend you as a second moderator to help keep the shit in control like a cheek around here. Let me know if you're up for it homie.
To end this shit, I'd like to say there is no ifs, ands, or buts about the new policy. If you don't want your thread closed, then make sure it's appropriate and serves some type of meaning or purpose besides talking shit. If your thread is absolutely pointless or is SPAM promoting your shit (unless you are a regular contributor to THIS forum) it will be deleted. NO QUESTIONS ASKED OR ANSWERED!
