I'm not the idea type of guy really....I just think if we all worked together it would make life much easier...At least if there was a large group of us that were fuckin around...hoppin on eachothers shit, just keepin it tight-knit...there would be no stopping us...like someone buyin my cd, and I got your name on the back, like let em know that all these people are my folks and we're all in this shit together it might make them wanna support us even more..?? I don't know I will type up more shit later but someone gotta have some ideas....
Can we elaborate?

Also....If I know you...and you're out here doing something and the people see us choppin it up they're gonna be like "Okay, he's cool with Big P, i'm gonna go check out what he has to offer....
Know what I mean? I know you're cool with my folks On One, there's no reason why we can't bullshit too.

its always good to network....at times i know the issue is peeps feel they have done more to bring their own name out so they don't wanna let people eat off their own work....but i'm down to work with whoever if they are doin something that we both can benefit from or vice versa

At one point I was trying to finance a tour bus, so you could have cats that are serious about their careers put the smash on alot of venues together. You imagine how much more of a reach NW hip hop would have if all the labels putting out records here were smashin together? Cats dont get along though, even me. You could get national attention, if you had all the labels with some bread up here co-sign a NW label, and have everybody pushing everybodys joints.

Great idea I don't rap but I produce and I'm always looking for mcs to work with. Did you have anything in mind D or is this just a random thought? Without ideas the Nw won't get far. I don't come here often and I think everytime I do I see a lets work together thread that I never see happen in the streets

Mostly just a random thought.....But it would be dope as fuck if like 20 producers contributed beats for a big group of rappers to do songs for a compilation...but I don't know, that might be asking a lot....

Unity is definitely lacking and big egos are abundant in this region. I don't have an answer to the problem though.

One thing I will say needs to happen for the region, is one central site for news and promotion of Northwest acts. They could use this forum as their message board and get the ball rollin. I'd almost be willing to run the site and do the news updates if somebody designed it. What happened to D-Sane's site?

yeahthere was supposed to be a few sites...... dont know.....
if we got like 30 people(too much? not enough?) everybodys gotta have 100 bucks to spare....
I don't know what graphic designers would be willing to help out....but all we really need to do is find the people and get to work....it shouldnt be shit to do one song...
Where's all the artists at??? I make a thread titled "all the rappers out here" and I get 3 fuckin rappers to reply.

Y'all know I'm with that! Not sure how I can help but the NW needs unity to get ahead! Without it it's just everyone for themselves trying to put a whole region on the map by they selves! We need some central entity to put out a whole series of NW mixtapes and push them nationwide.

this is comin from someone with no experience on the topic but my advice would be to take it one step at a time...maybe do like one track with a bunch of northwest artists kinda like what smigg dirtee did on "the last song" from "god made dirt"...that way u could figure out whos really serius about it and wether its gonna work out or not...and you could just go from there...you never know...it could end up being a whole cd or it might just not work out..but its a good idea tho.

make it happen

i think you guy's could do it ! it starts with a dream and a vision and dedication to move foward there are enough rap fans in the nw to blow up a few artist or a solid and unified camp as with any grass roots venture it still takes money and desire to win and work hard and the support of your family and friends as well as rap fans a lot of times when movements start people leave or fall off or think they should be the golden child , and everybody wants a free cd friends and family need to realize that this is a 9-5 for the up and coming artist they need to support by buying the cd and coming to the shows thats the key if you have 30 rappers with each bringing 100-200 fans to the shows or purchasing the cd's or downloads everybody wins but it comes down to who will lead and who will follow is the key and support comes from all angles including money, sweat equity, graphics, beats, lyrics, quality hip hop, i would love to see the nw blow up really big i hope you guys get it right and make it happen !!!!!!!!
