My potna left his MOB DEEP - Murda muzic cd over here and i threw it in for a spin.

Now being the huge pac fan i am i never really listened to them, also for the fact i didnt like the way they held themselves (they way they talked, lookt ect.)

But i threw it in my cd player and man i cant stop listening to this shit. The production is VERY eastcoast but im loving it.
Maybe i just like it cus its new, and most new shit i buy i only feel a couple tracks but this shit has been in heavy rotation!

(I still dont like the way they talk tho lol)

Mobb Deep "The Infamous," "Hell On Earth," and "Murda Musik," are all classics.

Wait till you hear their first two. I slept on MOBB for a while cuz of PAC too, but I couldn't deny how vivid their shit was when I finally heard em'.

Damn dog, you were sleepin' a long time. I never understood why cats who didn't know Pac shut themselves off from so much stuff just 'cause of Pac, but to each his own.

I know I would bump Mobb Deep right after listening to Pac. Talent is talent.

My favorites on that Murda Muzik album are "Streets Raised Me," "Where Ya Heart At" and especially "Allustrious." That track is perfectly put together to me.

The Infamous is cool even though it may sound a bit ol' school. I wasn't really feelin' Hell On Earth and never heard Juvenile Hell.
I was the same way - didn't listen to them because of Tupac - when one of my online affiliates, huge Mobb Deep fan, asked me to download a few of their songs. I downloaded, listened, and thought, "fuck, I've been sleeping on these motherfuckers for years!" When "Quiet Storm" hit, I had to get Murda Muzik and the rest of their albums (except Juvenile Hell 'cause it looks old and I haven't heard anything about it.)
My favorite Mobb Deep albums: The Infamous and Murda Muzik.

Oh, yeah... Prodigy's H.N.I.C. isn't too good, yet it's not too bad. Something in his flow changed and the beats aren't "grimy" like Mobb Deep's. I liked it, but felt dissapointed. Check out the Infamous Mobb's Limited Edition... tight album with nothing but street shit.
