What do you think when you buy an album with inaccurate tracklistings? You look at the tracklisting on the back and the name of the song #2 is given, but when you listen to it it is a totally different song and you read the rest of the song names to find out that the name of song #2 is actually song #13. Or, there are 15 songs listed on the back, but when you listen to the CD, there is only 13 songs on it.

To me, it just shows a lack of caring on the artist's end. You take the time to record and press up an album, but you can't even make sure that the tracklisting is accurate. Obviously, you don't care that much about the album you put out, so why should I?

I bought a Mr. Shadow album that was like that. But the booklet inside had the accurate tracklisting. And even then, some of the song titles were wrong, as in they were missing certain words. But I agree, you would think that artists would make sure that it was correct. Seems as if they don't really care.

ghostface killah - supreme clientele is a perfect example, theres 2 tracks that are listed on the back and they aint on the album, on top of that, the tracklist order is wrong. The correct order is actually printed on the actual cd LOL

how about when a featured artist is on the cd but not listed in the booklet or the back of the case? or worse when a featured artists' name is spelled wrong
If I was a featured artist and my name was not listed in the booklet or back of the case, I would just take it as the rapper fears me and doesn't want anyone to know who is outshining him on the song.

But if my name was spelled wrong, I would take that as a personal insult and probably wouldn't work with that rapper again.

This thread is on point, i thought it was hella funny when there was a dude on here promoting his new single with "Bum-B", like ur trying to get ur name out there and u spell ur famous featured artist's name wrong? and on top of it manage to insult him?
