Jake, you'd probably be the best to help me with this, I'm making a list of some underground shit I need to buy soon and I was wondering what you think of any of the following:

Planet Asia - 'Jewelry Box Sessions: The Album'
Black Milk - 'Popular Demand'
OC - 'Smoke And Mirrors'
Torae (Justus League) - Daily Conversation'
Guilty Simpson - Ode to the Ghetto
Chaundon (Justus League) - 'Carnage'
Mighty Joseph (Vast Aire + Karniege) - 'Empire State'
Bored Stiff - 'From The Ground Up'
Planet Asia - 'The Medicine'

I've heard sample clips from undergroundhiphop.com for all of them and liked them all but I'm just wondering other hip hop head's opinions.

Planet Asia - 'Jewelry Box Sessions: The Album' - i am huge PA/CA fan but i wasnt impressed with it. too short, shitty features. dont get me wrong,PA still comes tight, but just not worth it overall

Black Milk - 'Popular Demand' - one of the more surprising albums out of these when i first heard it. dope as fuck.

OC - 'Smoke And Mirrors'- worth it just for the song that samples the song from rocky, haha. OC never dissapoints, continues to make dope albums after all these years.

Torae (Justus League) - Daily Conversation'- must have if you are a justus league fan. one of the better albums to drop last year

Guilty Simpson - Ode to the Ghetto - seems like there is mixed reviews of this album. think its an aquired taste. most people i know hated it at first and it grew on them. i like it much more now then i did when it first came out

Chaundon (Justus League) - 'Carnage'- was disspointing at first just cause i had waited like 5 years for a chaundon solo but it has its share of dope tracks but just too inconsistant for me.

Mighty Joseph (Vast Aire + Karniege) - 'Empire State' - as much as i like karniege,i am not really a fan of vast aire so i am biased on this one

Bored Stiff - 'From The Ground Up' -not as good as a lot of their older stuff but defintily a solid album

Planet Asia - 'The Medicine' - dope album, classic PA shit.

That Zeph and Aseem was a nice little surprise from last year. I thought it was hella tight, I put it in my best of 07 list too.

One Be Lo S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M. is an underground classic, one of the dopest CD's from the last 5 years. Even better than Binary Star's album.

Im excited to pick up that Elzhi in your signature too, with Black Milk doing all the production I know its gonna be sick...

Read some mixed reviews on this, anyone heard it?

i got it...its hit or miss for me. doesnt have the smooth flow i was expecting from his slum village days

transitional joint and talking in my sleep are my favorite songs

i would give it a 6/10

why does every long overdue solo have to be so shitty these days?

good news is his next album isnt far away.
