Its worth getting if you're a Mac Dre fan.
7.5/10 after 2 full listens through.
Some points

+: Dre's flows are a lot better than in Thizz Washington. He sounds a bit more stable, like on Stupid Doo Doo Dumb, but at the same time, not like SDDD at all... You can tell he's more happy/thizzed out.

+: A lot of the beats are good.

+: Mastering and Mixing is twice as good as Thizzelle, at minimum.

+: Mac Dre is fucking funny.

- : Too many songs are short. More than half of them are under 3 minutes.

- : Some of the beats are wack.

- : Song 5 is recycled.

Overall the pros outweigh the cons to me. Good.

Yeah, basically, as with RAPPER GONE BAD, MAC DRE'S THE NAME, IT'S NOT WHAT YOU SAY and THIZZELLE WASHINGTON, it doesn't go far enough to be a classic, but it's cool if you accept it on its' own terms. The songs are a little short, but MD's lyrical flow overall is a bit better than it was the last two times out, and the sound quality is WAY better than it was on THIZZELLE and MAC DAMMIT MAN...

PEACE!

this cd is definitely what I was expecting. IMO its his best album since Mac Dre is The Name, but that really had a lot of recycled tracks, so going back into time I have to goto 1998 Stupid Doo Doo Dumb. This was his best album since Stupid Doo Doo Dumb.

The beats are tight on about 3/4 of the cd. Even better, the mastering sounds legit. The guest features are decent, Young Dru came pretty tight, and as always Dre's lyrics are basic but smooth and comical.

Im still soaking it in, but I am feelin it around a 7.5-8.

THizz Waash was hard it was only bad quality mastering and mixing
Yup. The only songs that were basically hopeless (regardless of good or bad sound quality) were "Rap Life" (the beat was just awkward as hell) and "Big Breaded" (MD sounded like he just woke up). Otherwise, a lot of those songs were tight and funny. But yeah, AL BOO BOO is better overall in terms of MD's flow and the production seems stepped up a notch...

PEACE!
