anybody here got game about Air Bags? my friends tryin to hook up her 98 mustang (convertable, V6) with fast air bags n shit. can anyone tell me what i should get? like what are tha good brands n shit like that. i found a kit on ebay that got this shit (4) 3/8" Ported Phoenix air bags (2500lbs or 2600lbs)

(1) 6 gallon Heavy Duty air tank W/ 4-Ports

(2) 1/3HP 180PSI DC2000 Chrome Air Compressors

(4) 3/8" Ported 300PSI DA Air Valves

(1) 150psi Pressure Switch

(2) 12V Momentary Toggle Switchs

(1) 50ft. 1/2" DOT Air Line

(2) Steel Braided Leader Hoses (For Compressors)

(2) Stainless Air Check Valve (will not let air escape through compressor head)

(1) Circuit Breaker Kit

All Brass & Nickel Air Fittings That Are Necessary.

also do you need 4 valves or 8? or is one better than the other? shoud i get 3/4" or 1/2" valves, with what kinda air hoselines n shit? oh she wants FBSS (Front, Back, Side to Side)

what better air cylinders or air bags? i want it to hop n do FBSS n they gotta be fast too i dont know if you can do that with air cylinders.

is a 550CC better than 2 1/3 HP compressors on a 12 gallon 8 1/2" port or 6 4 port gallon tank?

ive foudn different shit on Ebay like that Viair 550CC compressor, a 12 gallon 8 1/2" port TANK, and 8 3/4" parker valves. would that all together be tight?

My mom had a Lincoln Towncar a few years back. My brother crashed it, and my dad made us help this mechanic fix it so that the guy wouldn't charge as much. Well, he had us strip down the whole front end, and we saw the bar that causes the airbags to go off once it's hit, and that motherfucker was bent the fuck up. I always wondered why the airbags didn't go off. That's probably why.

Um if you wanna make your car hit FBSS I wouldnt go with air bags. Id go with hydros, but that would look crazy as fuck with a mustang hittin that. almost everyone I knows that has air bags just got them for show and not to try and hit them like they are switches.

i hope shes ready to sacrafice the driveability of her car........ bags straight fuck your alignment up and give you a lot more problems then its worth........
