I really enjoyed this album because it touches on a lot of different things 40 has gone through..this album is more real than grit and grind i must say.....i hope you get this kite is a good song....ill hit ya right back man ....

So do yourself a favor and soak 40 a bit more and see if it did to you what it did to me....

keak and beesh is the only shit thats offical so far.

the 40 had horrible production the yuk had so many fillers he might as well of just realesed an ep. and the c-bo was straight. i should put that up there to. but i couldnt stand a few hook singers

i was feelin that breakin news. e40 brings some different shit to the rap game. his music is entertaining because of the different shit he spits "your lyrics stick out like a turd in a punch bowl"

The one album that has surprised me so far this year in terms of solid production quality, lyrics and features is Taking No Shorts Vol. 2 by Hollow Tip. I had not really felt any of his previous efforts that much but, that album was KNOCKIN! I also like the new Yukmouth.

my top 3 in no particular order are

1. Godzilla
2. Taking No Shorts Vol.2
3. Mob Figaz(even though it has recycled tracks it's still tight)

I haven't heard all of Breaking News or Mobfather yet so I can't judge those. Although what I have heard from the 2 I really like.

BREAKIN' NEWS--It Grows On You, Pimp Suit!

Yeah, I like it a lot now, too. A lot of 40's stuff grows on you when you least expect it (LOYALTY & BETRAYAL was the same way). I basically like every song on BREAKIN' NEWS except maybe "Show & Prove", which might have benefited from three verses instead of just two. But the production here is not as bad as people here were saying it was, IMHO...This CD has a good chance of being one that I'll get back to again and again in the future. Just my opinion, though...

Oh, yeah--I like Hollow Tip's TAKIN NO SHORTS PART 2, too.

PEACE!
