For the way they performed and not really getting "better" other than McNair, I think this is BRUTAL for them.

and I hear you on Jamal, but that should have only affected the first part of the season....He wasn't the greatest towrds the end either, with the exception of 1 100 yard game against the vaunted Packers d

Jamal Lewis is not old and beat up. He was in the pen last year while his team was in training camp.... But not only did they add McNair they've also added Mike Anderson too. With Heap at tight end and McNair warrior's attitude the Ravens will be back in the playoffs this year. Don't forget they drafted a run plugging defensive tackle too for Ray Lewis. Their schedule doesn't look at that hard.

I never said Jamal was old and beat up, I said well jamal is Jamal...his best seasons are behind him...see Curtis Martin.

Mike Anderson is well Mike Anderson...He was awesome here in Denver don't get me wrong, but I say it's the system not the back so we'll see what he does there.

Heap..I like him, but you have to go back to McNair here...old and busted.

Thier D, I will give you that side, they start off healthy which they wern't last year so they should be pretty damn good again, but we'll see.

You don't think the schedule is tough??? At Tampa, Chargers, AT Denver, Carolina, Atlanta, @ KC IN DECEMEBER....That doesn't even include Pitt & cinci twice. That's 10 potential loses

That schedule is riddled with playoff teams, and aniticpated super bowl teams.

@thescary1 - I just realized the Ravens do have a hard schedule. They have to play the Steelers twice.

On the other hand, the Steelers do not have to play the Steelers at all. So obviously they'll have an easier time :)

And keep in mind that the Steelers and Bengals have the same schedule except the Ravens play Tennessee & the Bills, while the Steelers play the Jags & Dolphins, and the Bengals play the Colts & Patriots.

@Tony - This is Lewis' 7th year in the NFL as a powerback. Not saying that he can't do it...but running backs have the shortest shelf life in the NFL.

I'm voting for the bungles, since I have a feeling the raiders won't make it to the afc championship game....although they will still have a winning season

Hey thascary1 I was getting at stealth when I said Jamal isn't old and beat up. I would say he's still in his prime. He hasn't had any major surgeries to his knees to my knowledge (I could be wrong). Yeah he is a powerback but he still has a few years in him.

Their schedule isn't all that hard to me. We all know their division game are all tough. Cincinnati has no defense. I think we could all agree on that one. Pittsburgh pretty much poses a threat and they shouldn't have to worry about Cleveland because they're always running through them. KC and SD won't be too much of a challenge for the Ravens. Tampa isn't all that either. Going to Denver is tough for any team. Tennessee? LOL.... Atlanta won't be too much of a problem for them because they'll be playing at home and Vick has to prove he can stay in the pocket and deliver the ball. Their schedule isn't all that hard.

LOL! We'll see about that.... don't be surprised if the Ravens knock off the Steelers to take the division crown. Their schedule isn't all that damn hard. Pitts, Cinci, and Denver will probably be their hardest games. You need to learn something. I am an expert when it comes to this NFL shit, trick!
