does anyone have a zapco or a hifonics amp, and if you do how would you rate them???? i have a zapco right now, it is a d class amp, and it is the shit, but i am looking to buy a bigger one cause i want new speakers, and i came across a hi fonics 1000 watt d class amp for 300 bucks. would anyone that knows what they are talking about tell me what's up?

i been driving the shit out of it. i had some beats in my caddy, but i wanted an upgrade. i have 2 older 12 inch solo barics in my caddy, but i am gonna get the square solo's in my new shit, and build a custom box so the shit looks right. one thing at a time i will hook it up. i just got the windows tinted so i looks better now than before. still tryna figure out how to drive the damn thing to get that 0-60 time faster. that shit is scary fast.......

HIFONICS WAS BOUGHT OUT BY CRUNCH ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO BUT THEY STILL USE THE HIFONICS NAME 'CAUSE OF THEIR GOOD REPUTATION BUT SINCE HAVEN'T BEEN QUITE AS GOOD OF QUALITY. THE LAST TRUE HIFONICS SERIES AMPS WERE WHITE WITH RED AND BLACK TRIM I BELIEVE AND PULL A GANGLOAD OF CURRENT. THE NEW ONES ARE STILL STRONG AMPS BUT JUST NOT THE SAME AS THE OLDER ONES.

Sub-the one an only JL audio 13w7 amp-Phoenix Gold 600+JL 350. Speakers-MB Quartz. u know the clean ass shit. only problem is its in my dads station wagon. That sub hits unlike any ive heard b4. if you have the money spend it on that. its all the bass youll ever need.

thank God, someone finally knows what they are talking about. i am trying to decide in between a hifonics zeus or a brutus. i had no idea they were bought out though. i mean, i was gonna get 2 1000 watt hifonics amps, they are d class amps too, and they are bridgeable into 1 ohm mono, so i can see them drawing alot of current. i am aware i will likely need a new alternator and probably a capacitor for each of the amps. oh yeah, the amps are like a gunmetal color, both of the kind i was going to buy. they are like 325-350 each, but i think i could talk him down a lil with the loot in my hand...........anyone think that is a good price?

yeah, i have a zapco now, best amp i have ever really dealt with as far as me or my homeboys go. it's really stable and pushes way hard without getting hot. it's just that a i wanted to buy a 1000 W zapco, but realized i could get 2 hifonics 1000W amps for about the same price, that's why i thought the shit sounded fishy you dig? thanks tho
