Adobe / Cool Edit getting feedback vocals?

Does anyone know how i can have adobe or cool edit set up where, when i got something being recorded headphones on and rolling.....i could hear my voice feedback through the 'phones??? like feedback of my own voice while spitting?

thats something u should already be able to do.. plug in the headphones to the soundcard and the mic into whatever ure using to record.. then just enable the soundcard's mixer.. like mine is realtek'97 or some shit.. came with my abit motherboard.

Just hook the headphones up to your soundcard, throw the headphones in a 1/4" slot. They will pick up the entire mix and won't interfear with your mixer, you can hook them up to a mixer and route it but I prefer just throwing em in the soundcard directly, simple.

dont think yall understand what im saying, i know i can plug them into my pc directly, and i recorded with a mic before off my pc

but what i want is to be able to when playing a beat, and having my headphones (while spitting), i wanna be able to hear myself, with feedback through the headphones

because as of now it dont do that it records yea but i cant hear myself on the headphones while recording
