I got the Event PS6's, they are prety clean, my homeboy has the PS8's, those are nice as well. they have a cheaper version of this series as well. But like all speakers, you have to get used to the sound, and listen to your mixes on different sources.

If you have the $$$$ the HR824's are the way to go.

But remember this, no matter what we tell you everybody has there own opinion. You need to go to a music store and listen to several different brands and see what you like the best. Just cause company X is what I like dont mean you will like the way that it sounds. What sounds best to and fits into your price range then go for it. If you like one that is a little more than what you have then dont settle for less, save some more $$$$ and be happy in the long run.

Do you use different monitors at all?
