I've heard the T1 keyboard and the Plugin, but I haven't heard the other two. Also, I didn't hear either of them for a substantial period of time, so I can't give you an honest opinion, but have you heard the alesis andromeda?
I've heard about it, but never actually heard it.
Is it better?

i've never got to mess with them since most shops have to special order them and don't usually have them in stock. spec wise they look great on paper though

@ Vince, I wouldn't say it is a matter of "better" because I haven't spent much time with the access, and I'll be the first to admit that I HAVE purchased things because it looks "cool" (lol.) I don't recommend anyone doing that, but thats a habit of mine that I actually need to shake  , but I have spent some time with the alesis and I have 4 thinsg to tell you:

1. it's a real analog board.

2. You MUST tweek the presets.

3. You have a gazillion nubs and buttons so #2 will be easy

4. You MUST keep this machine in tune, because it does slip out of tune every now and then.

Now, I'm NOT saying to get this board, but what I am saying is to look into it. Also, have you checked out the V-synth?

I havent went shopping for new gear in months man. I haven't peeped anything lately. I've seen the v synth video demo, looked pretty serious too. I just want to
get something new. I'm a gear junkie , I gotta get new shit whenever I can. I bought this nord about a year ago, I rarely use it.
what's the word on the V synth tho?

^^ That is something else I've played with before, and I like it. You can do a lot of things with it, and if sound manipulation and making new sounds is your thing its a good choice. They have rack versions of the V-synth, but if I'm not mistaking they cost a bit more than the actual keyboard itself. I too am a gear junkie, but the latest thing that was purchased for our setup was a SP-404, and that was around $400 or $450. You are working with the 002r aren't you? Have you considered having modifications done to it?

Access Virus C is definitely a beast from what everyone says. I know it ROCKS for electronica type music like Trance especially, as for Rap, I don't know, but if you can program synths, you can definitely program Rap sounds out of it I'm sure like some sick basslines, leads, strings, kicks....

A Moog synth is probably better suited for Rap tho. Heck it's moog. Good shit.

I got the VSTi version of the minimoog by Arturia "Minimoog VA" and boy do I love it.

How about Novation's synths also? http://www.novationmusic.com/
I love the V-Station which is the VSTi version of K-Station and now they got that X-Station which seems pretty cool.

better noise floor and transient response at the input and output stage stage (all analog inmputs/outputs and headphone out), a low jitter clock circuit at the converter stage(the unit will have more clarity, depth and punch), and a 7db increase at the AD stage.
how much would it set you back to make these mods, I want a 002 but also want to ensure the highest quality coming into the thing

I'm in the bay btw, I probably won't ever have enough cash lying around to buy a board over a thousand bucks but its always fun to have a wish list
