I pretty set on the fact that my first one is gonna be a revolver. I like the look, they hardly ever jam or misfire, they are simple and easy to maintain for someone who is new to guns. I'm probably gonna get a Taurus .357 with a 4 inch barrel. I just dont want to spend 500 bucks on one which was both shops i went tos suggested price for one give or take.

I'm in no real hurry, its not like I'm out to get one to ride around like a pistol packin badass or nothing and the home protection factor isn't that much of a worry to me. I doubt someone is gonna break into my house, I dont have anything valuable at my crib really. I just want something to take to a range or out to the desert to pop off some rounds at targets for recreational use. Its a decently priced investment though and guns are like cars as soon as you shoot it its worth like 20% less than the day you bought it.

I've been bringing up the fact that i'm gonna get a gun to my girl every chance i can get just cuz it makes her mad lol. I'll like ask her a question and some how twist it into a pro gun conversation or somehow prove some inaine subject we are talking about is the number 1 reason why we need more guns. shit is hella funny to me

I went and got myself a Taurus Tracker 4'' .357 well almost lol is a snag on the background check though and i guess i have to wait a little bit to get it. since i have to wait i never made the sale so before I do is there a better .357 i can get brand new for the price. I'm gonna pay like 460 for the taurus. I've been checking out the Ruger GP 100 357 Mag as well which i think looks pretty nice I'm not like a gun expert so i didn't know about this one till after i got back from the shop.

another question.. if i decide on another gun does that mean i have to start over in the background check process? I want to take my shit to the range to get familiar with it asap

if it was me i would get the ruger. and on the background no, all there doing is checking your criminal record.

they didn't have any ruger revolvers at the shop i went to though they had I think it was called a P-90 which was a ruger 9mm semi auto. I'm pretty set on getting a revolver though. I might go over there and see if they can get me the ruger instead. they had a sale on the tauruses though, it will probably suit me fine for a first gun.

can someone suggest a shotgun for me? i wanted to make a thread but i didnt want to seem like i was trying to be thugged out or some shit, but i really need some ideas

something around the 300-500 dollar price range if possible? i dont really want to pay too much for it

the shotguns just kinda for a ..specific purpose i guess

and outa his price range
id get a desert eagle prolly out ur price range tho good quality gun .50 cal nice for peelin caps back u no..
but in ur case for the range id go with a .357 cuz it small good and reliable and i think thier sick and i want one..
either that or a .45 would be good choices anyways tell us what u get...

but are there different 'brands' of 12 guages? im talking in specific terms of which shotgun....

and mossberg is a brand but you arent telling me which shotgun...

im trying to kinda get someone to tell me an actual 'model' thats good

fuck going to a sporting store/gun store and asking this

I got the fever though, I'm already thinking of what I wanna get next. I think i'm gonna cop that Springfield XD-40 after i pay the ruger off in 2-3 months.

As far as shotguns go I'm not too sure. I've focused all my attention on handguns. I'll probably end up getting a shottie eventually too
