im thinkin about gettin a 9mm (a "9" to u suburbian gangsters), cuz its only $300 at this local gun shop, and thats about my price range (300-500)..a few of my boys told me that they can be faulty and that i should probably look at gettin a .380 or a .357..anyhow, i dont wanna get something thats a piece of shit, but at the same time i dont wanna spend 800-1000 for something that im only gonna take to the range once in a while..

any recommendations/experiences/whatever with a good or bad handgun or a 9?

thanks yall..

9's are koo but i prefer revolvers like, 38'z or 45'z, specially the snubnose'z. they dont expel shells and have a lesser chance to misfire..

glocks are cool and reliable-also like a 6-shot 38 snubby-i have had both for years and never had a problem with either-except the occasional "bring out the glock because the neighbors is gettin on my nerves episode"-cant go wrong with a good revolver though

wit a S&W you always know what you gettin................i mean they are a reputable company that understands you have killed once and more than likely you will kill again so you need quality

For a first gun grab a 357 revovler. Taurus have lifetime warranty and are good for the price. 357 will stop just about anything and is accurate. Plus if you just wanna bust at the range or in a field you can use 38 shells and save money on ammo.
