i know i know...everyones thought about what they would do if they got their hands on a time travel machine but what good would it really do?...heres my dilemma w this thing.

lets say that on friday the 13th...jojo has an argument w some mofos...argument escalates to the point were the mofos are threatening jojo w swords...next thing you know jojo whips out his gun and pops them all in the face.

now on saturday the 14th jojo stumbles onto some ravine while smoking some bud...he finds a time machine...a time traveling machine.

if jojo goes back in time to friday the 13th to "cahange the past"...will he be going as a visitor?meaning, is he going to see himself in the past killing the mofos?...or since he is in the time travel machine, will he himself be in the past?...and lets just say that somehow he manages to change the events of that night...lets say jojo pleads for his life and they let him go...the guys are still alive...does that mean that when jojo returns to his own time on saturday the 14th the mofos he killed the night before will suddenly reappear?...how does that work?..will it seem like nothing happen and the mofos just disappear?

im wondering because i heard some guy said he would kill hitler if he got his hands on a time machine...well if you kill hitler...what good is that?...when you go back to your own time the only thing you would have changed is history in your own mind right?!?!?!will more jews suddenly appear in the rpesent all because he killed hitler in the past?...and what would that do to histroy itself?...the aftermath of ww2 or the holocaust...like that guy shindler...if you go back in time and save all the jews...in the present will shindlers family be poor?middlecalss?still rich?

sorry it might be rambling but i wrote all this shit down while i was in a tremendous zone...it all makes sense to me though.

If I can apply the logic from the educational classic "Back to the Future" it's that JoJo would see himself "killing the mofos."

Furthermore, if one were to eliminate Hitler then the world would be changed as a result of this action. Just like when Biff gets his hands on the sports betting book and takes it back to the past to wager on sports and become a millionare, he is able to create a present/future different than the one that Marty knew previous to the events surrounding time travelling.

Hey I haven't forgot about the fatima thing. The third fatima is said to have already been revealed by the pope. Some say it has to do with the attemted assassination of the pope. Others say it has to do with russia and another "spiritual awakening". Personally I feel the fatima secrets came from a devil or high powered demon.

yeah yeah i thought of that but i got a problem w that...lets say you went to the past instigator...today you left for the year 1981...the year i was born...now lets say that on the day i was born you handed my family 20 billion dollars...youre in the past playing good samartian while i stay in the year 2004...im still here, youre in the past...am i all of a sudden going to wake up and find myself a billionare?...am i going to wake up w amnesia and just see a shitload of cash in the bank?

I think there would be a sort of altered future in another dimension since you cant just wake up and be a millionaire. In that other altered future you would have lived your whole life as a millionaire, while in this one, your just an average joe

yeah thats the other thing i was pondering...that in the universe there are different time dimensions...while in this dimension im 22...in some other dimension i could be 5 yrs old.

Being the First Non-Brazilian person to succesfully travel through time I'll let ya in on some knowledge. Now before I begin there are two different thoughts on time travel. One where there is only ONE time stream and the second where there are Multiple time streams. In other words if in the first school of thought I go and kill hitler, he will have been murdered once I get to the present/future and no one will remember him as anything other than a failed art student, the second school of thought focuses more on the concept that there are multiple time streams. So even if I go and kill Hitler he will have committed all his hate crimes, but the past (being a different time stream) will have a different future than the time stream in which I originally came from. Having set those two apart then I will tell you that the first theory is the one that is in effect.
So if you go back in time and give yourself a billion dollars all the events in the time that should have happened will be changed from that point, since you originally didnt have the money, and this will cause history to rewrite itself.

This is what I have come up with when dealing with time travel. You might want to get a pen and pad and draw the different timelines and shit so its easier to understand.

If you give your parents the 20 mil, and you create a new timeline where you grow up as a millionare. Now you return to the time you call the present, meaning exactly one second after you hoped in your time machine and went back in time. There are a few possible outcomes when you return.

1-Things are exactly how you left them. The results of your actions are carried out on another timeline in another dimension. Nothing was changed from you going back in time. Therefore giving yourself the money was pointless and if that was your motivation for making the timemachine your shit out of luck. The time machine is nothing more than a very kool hands-on encyclopedia. This is the 'safest' form of time travel and is the easiest to comprehend. There are simply multiple timelines going on at the same time in different dimensions. The thing I don't get is why no one makes a stroy/movie/show where the built time machine has another dial next to the date and time that allows you to jump from dimension to dimension.

2-There is only one timeline/dimension and when you get back you are changed as a person. You are rich and whatever, everything is different due to you changing the past. Now about your maemories, I will have to break this up even further:

A-You remember only what happened before you built the time machine, not a thing about growing up rich. But this means there are 2 different dimensions/timelines, and your machine just didn't return to the you being poor timeline. This situation is ideal becuase you can alter the past and reap the benefits. Other cases lead to nothing, but will be explained later. This case also makes me beleive that when you entered the 'you being rich' timeline, you destroyed your current self in that timeline automatically (like what happened in Back to the Future 2) and took over. Or, you will eventually come into contact with yourself and either half to kill him/her or become twins.

B-If when you return you have memories only of being rich, then you are only dealing with one timeline/dimension. You would cease to exist because you would have not then had the motivation to build the machine. You would either end up dead like some theories or end up back in your poor timeline. You can say that I would just give my secret to my parents or self and make sure they go back in time and give yourself the money. This won't work becuase things are not being carried out exactly like what happened before. The butterfly affect works here (kill a butterfly in the past, sets off a chain reaction that totally alters everything in the future), and there is no garantee you'll even be alive after delivering the money/secret. Therefore my conclusion is that this outcome is impossible.

C-You have memories from both your old timeline and your new timeline. This is impossible because you can't have 2 memories about the same time frame. I know this is just like saying that it is impossible to go back in time. But you gotta draw the line somwhere. If this theory were to work then you would have somehow fused together two bodies/minds when you appeared in the present (rich you and poor you), and combined 2 timeline/dimensions. Possible, but not to me.

3-You cease to exist because in your altered rich life that you take over, you die sometime before you have time to create the machine. Kinda like the butterfly affect I talked about in situation B, except you fucked up the first time around.

Another thing I try to think about is what were to happen if you killed yourself. Same above theories would apply, so you'd either cease to exist or exist in 2 timelines/dinensions.

Also, what about the fact that when you first goto the past: did you switch timelines/ destroy yourelf automatically in the past and take over, etc.

I'm writing a movie script that has timetravel in it, so I had to think all this shit out.

I think Time Travel must take into account that 'Time' doesn't really exist.
The thing I think people have to understand is that a time machine cannot be stationary. At least not like the time machine in the movie/novel The Time Machine. I mean if you're not moving it means that other people can still see you, although you are going back in time. And even if you're moving so fast people can't see you what would happen if someone moved into the space that your time machine is in? And then I don't think, if you go back in time, you should make contact, at least not physical, with your past self. This would kill you, and possibly the whole universe, because touching yourself would be you in two places at one time. and that is a time paradox. Which could result in the universe being destroyed, much like in Back 2 the future or Time Cop.

It will only be possible to travel to the future and look into the past (although that would require us to break some laws because we would have to make a device that could travel faster than the speed of light and collect old light that travelled from earth long ago and bring it back), it will never be possible to travel to the past or look into the future.

Check this out first off Time Travel is awsome if I could do it then i would. But in the instance where there are multiple time streams then would you indeed go back to your own time or would you go back somewhere else? Would yyou better yourself or society as a whole and what if luni's (not yukmouth and that other guy) got their hands on it?
