About 2 Da Face Entertainment
Straight out of Stockton, California - from the heart of the ghetto – comes 2 Da Face Entertainment. Born in 1999, its first release “Ghetto Rich the album” sold a remarkable 10,000 copies and took this small-time, nickel-and-dime company to the next level. 2DF later released Tizzle’s first solo album “Tizzle (Spitting Like Fire),” which echoed through the ghetto and got love from his hometown and the whole Central Valley. Tizzle’s records sales hit the roof and reached 20,000 copies in just six months. The most popular song was “Holla Back,” a collaboration with Keak Da Sneak that linked the Valley with the Bay. In 2005, 2DF shook up the Valley and the Bay by releasing the urban film “Operation Stackola: The Movie” starring Yukmouth and the 2 Da Face family. And don’t forget Tizzle’s “Power Movez,” the double album that made the connection between the Valley and the Bay official. The album featured Mac-Dre, Yukmouth, B.A of 3X krazy, Da General and the whole 2 Da Face Family. It did wonderful, topping out at 30,000 in sales thanks to the support of the Valley and the Bay. Then came the banger selling out in every store and appearing on every television news station. It’s the movie police, teens and thugs talk about most: “Stockton Gone Wild.” The documentary takes you to the streets of Stockton where East, West, North and South came together to give you the city’s craziest moments. With sideshows, street brawls and stripping, it is a must-see DVD. You can check out the commercial on Bolt.com and MySpace.com. Other albums released by 2 Da Face Entertainment include Skitso’s “The Rap Game is the New Dope Game” and Melly Mel’s “Millennium.” And look out for Tizzle’s “Bars and Stripes” and “Stockton Gone Wild Vol. 2” dropping soon.
