ABLETON LIVE 3.0 recording help!?

ok....im used to recording in PRO TOOLS FREE...
which is coo & gets the job done....
but i have 2 reboot my MAC into OS 9
and it has limitations LIVE does not....

the only reason i dont use LIVE is cuz unlike PRO TOOLS FREE,
(and almost every multi-trac sequencer ive used)
when i read my outputs and listen after recording.....
its only 1 channel....
now PT FREE records in mono also,
but splits it to L & R....
any1 used this app, or have similar experience
to tell me how i can fix this problem???

(i have cheked the apps preferences settings btw)

If you can only hear out of one channel for something that you recorded then you may be recording a mono signal into a stereo track and only getting the left channel. You want to record to mono if recording a mic signal or any other signal that only has one sound source.

So the answer, record to a mono track, not a stereo track.

yea.......
that wasnt the problem......
i pretty much have the fundamentals corncerning that stuff.......
this problem was almost entirely software-based....
i couldnt find where 2 change it in this particular app......
i just couldnt find anywhere 2 change my settings.....
i handled it now w/sum help on the apps forum......
thanx 4 tryna @ least help me solve it tho unlike everybody else
