anyone body fuck with this program?i got a big ass demo and im hooked,this is the shit,i am definetly going to be getting the live 5.0 version,theres jus so much shit you can do,and its pretty usre friendly,with a good "gettin started"demo.i jus had to give my 2 cents,i give this thing 2 thumbs way up
it seems to have a sketch book feel to it,like you can bring tracks and samples in at any time,and it atomaticly plays them to you with the beat,so you can really feel and hear if its gonna be goin with your beat,dont know if all this makes sense,but oh well

Ableton Live 5 is the TRUTH

It only comes with two instruments, but both are amazingly versatile and simple.

I have yet to master using it for original production (still kinda dabbling in that area and still haven't got past the mental block of making beats without hardware), but am having a lot of success making DJ mixes with it.

I think Guitar Center has Live 5 for 299.00 right now which is a great deal because anyone who buys 5 right now gets a free upgrade to 6 when it comes out next month (best believe 6 will cost more that $300 when it debuts

We ought to keep this thread around and people can post questions, problems, experiences with Ableton.
