you know what, that is some fucked up shit..but it's also some fucked up shit when a 14 yr. old decides to take another kids life.

the feeling of injustice that you're feeling from watching that video is far less then the feeling of unfairness that parents feel when their kids are gunned down for wearing a wrong color or being in the wrong place.

you can't sit here and advocate judicial justice while at the same time promoting gang warfare.

really what do you expect? for us to shead a tear or cry out injustice..?..everyone has to choose the wrong or the right choice in their life even at 13-14yrs old you know what could happen and what could be wrong....their parents get to see them for visitations and it will give them a chance to ponder the thought if either i should have not killed someone or if i could have did more to help out my child....who cares though....*yawn* @ the thread....

all very valid opinions. I just personally dont feel that any child should do life for a crime they did at 13 or 14 years old. I remember being 13 and 14 and not knowing how to take out my frustrations at the world especially living a barrio lifestyle. I'm not trying to make anybody sympathize because you're all entitled to your own opinions its just a reality more of us will have to deal with living in these barrios. Imagin your lil brother, son, nephew, etc. being locked up for life at that age for their mistakes.

you can't go around acting a fool and then cry when consequence smacks u in the face.

If my lil brother was wearing a red shirt i would make damn sure he knew why. But just like when i was young, i was given the option to do what i did. My OG's told me what time it was but before that they said, this life is probably going to only get you one place, get an education first, BUT ,if youre going to do this here is what it is and here is whats in store. But then again that was back in the days before 3 strikes laws and gang enhancements.

your past 4 comments have brought nothing to this thread. Either state your opinion on the subject or shut the fuckkk up.

When they decide to try kids this young as adults they look at a lot of factors, like their state of mind. When you have the state of mind of intentionally killing sommeone, other things, like age, mental health, being drunk, etc dont matter as much.
I dont think we know enough about these cases to decide if it is or isnt right.

If I saw my lil brother, son or nephew going down a path where life in prison was the only outcome, I would step in and do whatever it takes to prevent them from reaching that conclusion.

Telling that to a kid who in your own words, doesn't know how to take out his frustrations at the world, isn't going to carry much weight. If they can't cope with the world and what it throws at them, how can they be expected to make intelligent decisions, and fully understand "what's in store"?
