I've been talking about this for years....most on this board feel the same way. I'm sure the doc would be an interesting watch, but it's not going to reveal some "grand truth" to most of us. Many of us here already feel this way.

Hannity - Obvious...I mean seriously. "Hannity is Republican-leaning" WHat a fucking surprise!

What gets me about H & C is that Hannity starts out the show 99% of the time, and the H& C headlines usually lean towards the Hannity positions. "Felons aiding Dems?" "Kerry Flip-Flopping?" "Bush attacked by anti-American liberal groups?", and so on, and so on.

O'Reilly...this guy is basically a Republican independant. Every single day he discusses how and what the Bush campaign could or should do to break ground or reach this demographic or that group. Every single day he praises the Bush camp for *something*. I have yet to see O'Reilly say *anything* positive towards Kerry....anything at all.

However...this doesn't really tilt FNC in my opinion.

What really tilts FNC is, in no particular order: Cavuto, the "Beltway Boys", the "Fox News All-Stars" "Fox News Watch"...lmao. Special Report with Brit Hume, Fox News Report....

Right-leaning
Fox News Watch sample show: Does the Media want Kerry to win in November? (Conservative)
Negative Discussion of 'Outfoxed' (Conservative)
Family of Airforce officer upset at F9/11 (Conservative)

Well Cavuto tends to be more on the business side. His conservatism comes from the old "Republicans are good for business" adage...which is true in many situations.

Psycho, the reason Fox News is declared sucha joke is because they call themselves "Fair and Balanced" as in "there is no slant to our news". Watch FNC objectively, listen to their guests, and read their headlines...and there is a definite conservative slant.

Now Psycho Logic, find me the "liberal" TV news stations you're talking about...especially the ones who swear they are completely fair and balanced. Last I checked, there were none. Besides, possibly, much of PBS.

White Devil, somethings been eating at me for a while because I can't call it with you....if you dont mind (i know this is a weird question) -- but where do you stand on the big topics of politics? I know youve called yourself a conservative, but ive read quite a bit of liberalism from you.

Im not trying to call you out, this is just my own curiosity.

Though I will say this - Republicans often tend to be fucking morons (George Bush, Buchanan, Rumsfeld). I would support a reasonable, non-hysterical, rational Republican over an idiot Democrat, but this is in the case of there being no chance for a third party victory. Government overall, espeicially the two major parties, is largely a big business dupe for the people to feel they have some control over their circumstances. The real power comes from lobbying, not the polls or elections.

who cares what they claim to be. Im sure every new station has some kind of slogan or name to live up to. news is news. some put a twist on their stories, some dont. you're still gettin the same facts, some just might be obscure to benefit themselves. it doesnt take a genius to look past that. it really doesnt.

and isnt like 80% of the media liberal?

No, 80 percent of the media isn't liberal. If the media was so "liberal", things like Halliburton, Bush's missing criminal records in Texas, the many huge rationales against going to Iraq, Bush's stealing of the vote from thousands of black voters in Florida, Bush's serious amount of corporate ties/funding, Bush's horrible record on the environment, Bush's record amount of days on vacation in office, Bush's statement that he had been convicted of no felonies "in the last 25 years", the fact that he dodged Vietnam, and can't even really prove he served in the National Guard would have been much more closely scrutinized.

Bush's missing criminal records in Texas-(records sealed) -proven

The many huge rationales against going to Iraq-(major dissenters locally and worldwide) -proven

Bush's stealing of the vote from thousands of black voters in Florida-(common knowledge) -proven

Bush's serious amount of corporate ties/funding -(look at his campaign donations rolls, ties to the oil industry) proven

Bush's horrible record on the environment -(most oil-friendly president ever, wants to repeal the Clean Air Act) -proven

Bush's record amount of days on vacation in office -(taken from White House stats) -proven

Bush's statement that he had been convicted of no felonies "in the last 25 years" (on record) -proven

The fact that he dodged Vietnam (Skipped 50,000 people on a list, scored 25/100 on entry exam) -proven

Can't even really prove he served in the National Guard (White House released pay stub that does not prove attendance, only pay...Several commanders never remembered seeing him) -proven
