This poll pertains to the power of the mods and how the banning of members should be decided. This thread should not contain anything smart ass about the mods we have, or NEMO. I respect these guys, and its time to come together and figure out if things need to change. Keep the talk to this topic or the thread WILL BE CLOSED.

Q: Should the global moderators have the final word in banning people, or should siccness.net members.

It seems that when the mods ban people, some members have a big problem with it, some don't care, i just think everyone should have a say as to how much one member is or is not contributing to the siccness.

My proposal: Bring back hardtimes forum and when members need to be banned, add them to a BAN list, then people can drop by and clown, the banned member can plead, and after some period of time (3) days or (7) days the person may be gone for good or stay.

This thread isn't to prove anyone right or wrong, just to cut down on the excess threads, and arguing, and bring the siccness people to a consensus on this topic.

I FEEL BANNING SHOULD ONLY BE NECESSARY WHEN A USER IS A "CONSTANT" ANNOYANCE TO THE MAJORITY SICCNESS MEMBERS ...... THE WAY IT IS NOW IS KIND OF WHACK ...... "FOR EXAMPLE" .......TONIGHT IF I WAS TO TELL DJ MARK 7 TO FUCK OFF AND EAT A FAT DICK ..... TOMORROW MORNING I WOULD MOST LIKELY BE BANNED FOR TYPING THAT ...... EVEN THOUGH I DONT START SHIT WITH HIM ON A REGULAR BASIS, AND I HAD TYPED IT IN MY OWN THREAD, IN THE "OPEN FORUM", WHERE ANYTHING SHOULD GO REGARDLESS OF MY COMMENTS, AND WHOMEVER I MAY BE DIRECTING THEM AT, WHETHER THE COMMENTS BE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE ...... I think we should vote. Do ya remember way back in the day when someone would post some stupid shit all the memebers would vote right in the thread to ban the member? I said it beofre I dont think anyone should be banned unless they are spamming the site or deliberately flaming other members

im with u on that 1. i also agree spamming should also be banned. ive been on this site since i was 16, im 20 now and i have not been banned once, except when tha siccness switched servers (i think it said everyone was banned)

I THINK THIS IS A BETTER IDEA.

IF WE ALL START VOTING FOR PEOPLE TO BE BANNED, IT WILL QUICKLY BECOME AN IN-CROWD VS. OUTSIDERS.

PEOPLE SHOULDNT BE BANNED UNLESS THEY ARE SPAMMING. BANNING PEOPLE FOR BEING IGNORANT IS DUMB. ANYTHING LESS, ALL OF US CAN DECIDE THEY ARE MORONS AND NOT REPLY TO THEM OR JUST FLAME THEM UP. NO BIG DEAL.
